About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Associate Director, Biology, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of an early-stage company and contribute to next-generation immunotherapies.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and execution of immune cell-based experiments, using both primary cells and cell lines.

Independently work to generate, critically analyze and interpret data with scientific rigor and an open mind.

Work collaboratively with scientists and research associates within and across teams to accomplish program goals.
-
Perform T cell dependent cellular cytotoxicity assays.
-
Multiparameter flow cytometry-based analysis of cell lines and primary T cells.
-
Thorough documentation of experiments and communication of results with scientific
team members and stakeholders. -
Contribute to maintaining a creative and safe laboratory environment.
Preferred qualifications and past experience:
-
Ph.D. in Immunology or Cancer Biology with 3+ years of experience in either an academic or industrial setting. M.S. with 8+ years of experience in Immunology or Cancer Biology.

The ideal candidate would have strong background in Immunology with understanding how cytotoxic T cell recognize and eliminate target cells.

Extensive experience in cell culture, including primary lymphocyte cultures.

Demonstrated experience with flow cytometry, including FlowJo data analysis.

Experience with techniques related to T cell immunology and tumor immunotherapy,
-
such as ELISpot and ELISA.

Familiarity with T cell functional assays such as T cell dependent cellular cytotoxicity
-
assays using systems such as the Incucyte live cell imaging system.

Ability to work in an interdisciplinary scientific team and the desire to learn new
-
techniques.

Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-moving small
-
biotech environment.

Outstanding pro-active attitude, interpersonal, collaborative, communication skills, and

ability to present research to a variety of audiences.

A creative, flexible and self-motivated individual is highly desired.
